Create content in the High Country.
Madelle Media is looking for App State students and Banner Elk locals to join our content creation team. You'll shoot, edit, post, and help us build community for the brands we love. Camera in hand is a big plus.
§ 001 The Role
A hands-on content creation internship.
Based near Appalachian State University and Banner Elk, NC. You'll work directly with our founders on real client work, from local restaurants and festivals to lifestyle and hospitality brands across the mountains.
Capture
Photo & video on-site at events, shoots, and pop-ups.
Create
Edit reels, cutdowns, and social-first content.
Post
Draft captions, schedule posts, and engage community.
Learn
Sit in on strategy calls, brand shoots, and PR pitches.
§ 002 Who We're Looking For
Curious, on the ground, camera-ready.
Local to the High Country
Based in Boone, Banner Elk, or nearby. App State students especially encouraged.
Owns a camera (preferred)
Mirrorless, DSLR, or a phone rig you actually know how to use. Show us your setup.
Lives online
You get Instagram, TikTok, and internet culture — and you have opinions about it.
Reliable & self-starting
You show up on time, communicate well, and don't wait to be told what to do.
A point of view
Design eye, taste, humor, or a knack for storytelling — bring what makes you, you.
Bonus
Editing (Premiere / CapCut / Lightroom), design (Figma / Canva), or copywriting.
